Infused water is a great way to add variety to your daily water intake while adding little to no calories.
Drinking water boosts your metabolism which cleanses your system and has a natural weight loss affect.
I love to make a big batch and drink it over several day or just add some frozen berries to the bottom of my water bottle for the day. This is a great beverage to make when you have company come over. It’s fancy, tasty and super easy. I also bring a large Mason Jar of infused water when invited to friends for dinner. It’s a unique gift and I leave the Mason Jar behind so they can make more.
Here’s my favorite Infused water:
- 1 liter of water ( i use a large Ball Mason Jar )
- 1 tsp of freshly grated ginger
- 1 sliced medium cucumber
- 1/2 sliced medium lemon
- 6-9 small mint or spearmint leaves
Put all ingredients in a the large Mason Jar, fill up with filtered water, put on the lid and place in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving. Serve chilled glasses with lemon wedge on the rim or a mint leave on top.
