In my search for better health I’ve now ventured into eating the Paleo way. Eating Paelo means to eat like the Paleothic humans did, or as we think they did. It is a diet of meats, vegetables, fruits, and nutes while excluding dairy and processed foods. Well, because of my uniquely made human body, I’m avoiding all of these things below:
- Processed Sugar
- Processed Foods
- Nuts (until I get the allergy tests back)
- Legumes i.e. green beans, cashews
- Starchy vegetables
- High fructose fruits, i.e. citus
While the past 3 weeks have been a bit trying at times to try to figure out what to eat and not be hungry, it’s been so worth it. I’m feeling better, starting to sleep better, and my digestion issues are settling down.
In the weeks and months to come I hope to share the recipes I try and the new things I find.
